Why choose us
Why a regular programme beats a one-off treatment
A lawn is not a one-off job. Grass wants feeding when it is growing, weeds are easiest to deal with when they are active, and moss builds up in the damp months. A single treatment helps for a few weeks. A programme timed to the seasons keeps the lawn thick enough that weeds and moss struggle to get a hold.
The most important visit is in early autumn. Scarifying, aerating, overseeding and feeding in September repairs the damage of the summer and sets the lawn up for the next year. We include it in our treatment plans, so you do not have to remember it or pay extra for it.
- Six treatment visits a year
- Feed, weed and moss control timed to the season
- September renovation included
- Photo and a short note after every visit

Month by month
Your lawn, month by month
Every plan follows the same rhythm of the year. September is the big one.
- JanQuiet monthLawns are resting. We plan the year, book new customers in and service the kit. Stay off frosty grass.
- FebMoss and drainage checkOn a mild day we look at moss, standing water and worn patches, ready for spring.
- MarFirst cut and spring feedGrass starts to move when the soil warms. First cuts stay high, then come down gradually. Spring feed goes on.
- AprWeed and moss controlWeeds are growing, so treatments work. We target them without scorching the lawn.
- MayMowing and feedPeak growth. Regular mowing keeps the lawn thick, with another feed to keep colour and density.
- JunSummer feedA lighter feed keeps colour without pushing soft growth. We cut a little higher in the heat.
- JulDrought and pest checkWe watch for dry patches and chafer grub damage and leave grass a bit longer to shade the roots.
- AugDisease checkHumid spells can bring fungal patches. We spot them early and prepare the lawn for September.
- SepThe big one: renovationScarify to lift thatch and moss, aerate to open compacted soil, overseed thin areas, then an autumn feed.
- OctFinal cuts and leavesLeaves come off the lawn so light and air can reach the grass. A last tidy cut as growth slows.
- NovWinter prepCutting height goes up, tools go away, and the lawn goes into winter feeling robust.
- DecOff seasonNo visits. Your plan carries on and your lawn rests until the new year.
